Peenko's Nostalgic November #17 - The Llama Farmers

The Llama Farmers were another teenage band that garnered some attention in the music press in the post-Britpop years, they were more indebted to the alternative American scene of the mid-90's, think post 'Nevermind' bands and you are half way there. They released two albums, 'Dead Letter Chorus' and 'El Toppo', and even played with some great Scottish bands including Idlewild and Biffy Clyro, which should give you a good indication of what they sound like.
